First word from me on the TC Nova Dynamics

hi!!!
I just received my new Nova Dynamics and man. ... I love it!

you can do high compression in studio settings and it is almost transparent!! no noise at all , wonderful. The sound came a bit + high frequencies or "presence" , but still nice.

Bongo, I hear a glitch in stomp mode , but I can´t describe exactly how its sound... but seems to me that´s came from bass (am.prec.delux 18v) and the stomp mode somehow make this more "present". I will make more tests later.

I havent spent much time on this yet.

tonight I will test in the band

Any updates on whether the threshold glitch in stomp mode is an isolated problem or common with this model? Has TC Electronic addressed the problem? This model has everything I'm looking for and I'd be willing to spend more than I was planning on if I can be reasonably confident that I won't end up with a compressor that makes noises I don't want.

Oh yeah, I bought a second one and updated my review some time back. As far as I'm concerned it's a no-go. The glitch was the same on the second one, again using passive basses, active basses, an EUB, a buffer pedal, adjusting the level of the signal going, adjusting the pedal calibration, etc. etc. Also I decided that the "studio" mode loses some low end.

It's a great unit conceptually, and they got some things right, but the reality is a dud IMO.

Damn, that's too bad. I'm leaning towards a Barge RC-3 then. The EBS and Demeter are just too far out of my budget unless I luck out and find one of them used before someone grabs it. So far I've been too late on the ones I've seen.
