My preferred species to chase is Walleye, which we here in Ontario call Pickeral. Before the onset of Zebra mussels, the fall run of Walleye into The Bay of Quinte made it one of the premier Walleye fisheries in the world.
We had 35 fish days, with most fish in the 11 to 13 lb range. My biggest tipped the scales at 14.75 lbs. It was 35 inches long.
The fishery has taken a huge step back in recent years....

Walleye is on my list of Fish to catch. We dont have them here in So Cal and id like to take a trip someday to go catch em.
