There are many threads explaining this subject,and the events that can be triggered when you remove the bridge. If you don't have success with a search,PM me, it is a relatively painless repair.
first make sure you know if the threads are up or down. loosen the strings, protect the top with a towel or something - put small drops of pentrating oil where adjuster and bridge meet-let set for a few minutes, turn the wheel counterclock out of the bridge -don't force-can do damage- if neither this nor what Forester suggests-PM me for more ways
