Flat Wounds for Steinberger Bass

My Son Just got Himself a Steinberger XP-2 for His 30th Birthday

We both love Flat wounds & have them now on all three of the Basses Here at the house..

I just finished up setting up His new bass & replaced a broken Jaw/Claw on the bridge

The only brand of Flat Wounds I could find for the Double Ball End Steinberger where stainless steel LaBella S500L Picked up two sets for $40ea @ Ed Roman's

They sound much warmer plus it's now tuned down a half step
Flats feel so good to the hands, So Smooth & Slick

My Go Too Bass Strings have been D'Addario Chrome Flats .045"-.100" that are on Both His Jackson JPB-7 Fretless & My Ibanez SR300

I have played Bass for 43 Years BTW, My Son Plays MUCH Better & Has played guitar since He was 3, He's Played Bass for at least 20+ years

BTW Our Bass Amp is an Ashdown 300c410t
