I am thinking about throwing a set of roundwound piccolo bass stings for the high octave. And a set of 95's Fender Flats on my 8 string for the low octave. Has anyone ever done this? What should I expect toanlly?
I imagine it in my head to be quite deep with an added twang from the brighter piccolos
