Flats for a Beatle bass knockoff

I just bought an Ideal Hofner copy, and need some good flatwounds for it.

I was all set to order some Pyramid Gold flats, and then after doing research here and online, I found a lot of mixed and bad reviews of the Pyramids.

So, what should I get?

LaBella Deep Talkin flats, Pyramid, or...?

Thanks!
the mixed reviews really mostly come from people using long scale sets. The med and short scale Pyramids are a lot more balanced in sound and tension. I have a set on a Starfire and they feel and sound great if you're looking for a traditional flat sound.
