Don't overlook Sadowsky flats. They go from Motown to broken in Roto flats teritory with ease. Great cut, quite aggressive without too much brightness, wonderfully voiced flats for modern and older styles of music.

I have Sadowsky flats on my Lakland DJ4, and thought they were the finest, until... I put a set of Lakland Joe Osborn flats on my US JO4! 
The Sadowskys have a great tone, and are mid-tension strings. Not floppy like the TIs, or stiff like the LaBellas or Fenders.
The Lakland flats have just a wee bit less tension than the Sadowskys. They're both great strings, but playing them side by side, I prefer the Laklands.
