Flats on a modern active bass?

I just strung up my Ibanez SRA 500 with GHS precision flats. I love the combination. Tried the Fender flats and liked them. I just like the GHS strings better on this bass. I used rounds on it too, but they seemed too twangy. The GHS precision flats are working great for me on this bass.

cool bass.. but..whats with all the strap button locations?..even at the neck there seems ..strange..to me.

Thanks, the bridge end strap buttons are original. The strap button under the neck pocket was an attempt to aleiviate neck dive but I came up with a better mousetrap instead.

I have flats on all my basses except my Landing and thinking of putting the flats back on.....
