Flats with light purple silks on both ends? ID?

And gold ball ends. Can someone please help me identify these flats? They were strung on a Jack Casady at my local GC. They're extremely smooth, not sticky at all. The color is a light purple, the headstock picture matches best.

Good strings. I hate the cobalt rounds, but really like the cobalt flats.

Too much stupid bridge design. The strings are fine on any normal bridge.

I agree with that being a stupid bridge, but I have several normal bridges which would have the same problem.
Is there any reason for yarn to even exist on the bottom? I've never encountered an unwinding on the ball end of any string.

I don't know really. To keep the winds together maybe. Or it could be an aesthetic thing since the wraps at the bottom are always kinda crooked before they straighten out for the rest of the string.

They're a lighter shade of purple and the winds are closer together. The cobalts have gaps between the winds.

I don't find them rough, but others have complained about them being sticky at first. A quick wipe down with an alcohol soaked rag usually fixes that problem. I find smooth flats get stickier when trying to slide etc... because they build up with gunk because it has no place to go. I haven't tried all flats, maybe 4 or 5 different ones in the past couple years but these have been my favorite so far. They have a beautiful balanced sound without being bottom heavy or thumpy. I personally like that.

They're just a little sticky. But they're still new. But on the used bass they were smooth as silk.
