So I was looking at the new Fender Flea active jazz bass specs and I noticed that older pictures showed Flea using it with his lane poor humbucker, which I’m guessing Fender has tried to replicate with their own bass humbucker but then I noticed more and more recent pictures of flea using an Aguilar bass humbucker. This is a pointless post just something I noticed!

Don't cry for Michael Peter Balzary! When you have a full time bass tech you are probably always changing things around, and he likely has a small collection of those rare Lane Poor pickups depriving the rest of us.

every one can buy a LP pickups, because they came back to sell about 2 years ago.

On the beginer, with this new fender active, Flea tried diferents pickups: MusicMan, Aguilar...and finally came back to LP. I remenber seeing a jazz bass with carbon fiber neck too with him.
