Looking at the Sansamp Bass driver V2 or the VT, however this new fly rig says it has both of these built in. Does the Flyrig really give you both pedals with the exact same tone options of each in one pedal?
No. There was not enough room on the pedal to incorporate every feature of each standalone pedal. You can certainly adjust to get close but you won't be able to achieve every possible setting of the dedicated pedals.
as someone who owns a bfrv2 and a bass driver di, I have never owned a vt bass, but I can tell you what ever you guys did, wow, that pedal is always on when I play at this point in my bass playing, that may change later on, but for the foreseeable future as far as I know anyway, it'll remain the staple of my sound.
