Greets all.
I'm 35 and I've never played an instrument in my life
I've always been a fan more of the rhythm section than the rest
of the band, though, and my favorite musicians fall in there, drummers
and bassists both.
So a couple weeks ago, completely on impulse, I bought this little beginner
kit with a book, DVD, and 2 instructional/accompaniment CDs for learning bass.
I have no idea why I bought it, but I've now decided that when my
tax return comes in, I'm going to pick up a (maybe used) bass,
a little amp, and start learning
Nothing serious planned, I just want
to have a little fun and learn something new.
I was referred here by another member via the Chevy Impala enthusiasts forum
we both frequent. So if you read this, jw, thanks for the heads-up
Anyhow, I'll be lurking around here for the next couple-few weeks,
until I actually get my tax return and can pick up an instrument.
Just wanted to stop in and say howdy, and thanks for this great forum
