sorry I can't quote from Club I anymore so here's Joel's comment :

"Nice bass. It was on eBay for a while. I'm glad it worked out. The guy selling it backed out of a deal with me twice on another bass he was selling at the same time. I sent the money and then he changed his mind and sent it back - twice!"

That is *Chris Marsh* - the guy you see on the Fodera page.

He did the same thing to a friend of mine who bought an Emperor from him via ebay.

Seems to be a trustfull guy, this Chris Marsh :scowl::hmm:

Hey Mark...yeah, Berklee. It was funny to sit next to someone with a bass you've seen on this site. His user name is Kobia (I think I spelled that correctly). That's one hell of a bass he has.

man...I went to Berklee in the late 70's early 80's. The fanciest bass you'd see a student playing then was a Music Man. Students have a lot of money today.

And I bet your new bass is turning some heads there as well. :) -Along with your playing! :bassist:

That AJ Presentation is a jaw dropper!

Yeah, I'm not sure where people get the money to pay for school and buy such a bass, but good for them if they can. It's always nice to shed on an instrument that's such a joy to play.

Yeah Derwin, I'm very happy with my own bass for sure....but we won't talk about that in this forum. ;) It holds it's own for sure though. As for playing...there sure are some incredible young players at school. I've got my work cut out for me, but I do believe that I've got some good things to bring to the table. I'm looking forward to working out some of my own ideas the next few years. Very exciting time!

Back to Foderas!:)

Hi Joel, is your AJ a custom? I notice the current AJ is a passive single pickup instrument. -Very sweet bass indeed!
