Fodera Club Part IV

I've read few years ago that this material is a hard piece of wood to separate the top and the body, concerning the sound. Thanks to that, the top doesn't affecte the sound of the body.
But I'm not sure if it's right...

Nah. It's a thin veneer- it doesn't do/contribute really anything good or bad.

Life is good -- I definitely cannot complain!

I actually have hard copy photographs of it somewhere. This predates digital cameras by a year or two. I remember going to the school yard near my old apartment and taking pictures of it outside against a brick wall. I'll dig them up and scan them.

Funny ... I took my new bass to practice tonight, and our drummer (a master woodworker) asked me what the black line was. I told him "prastic."

nein habe ich noch nicht. Ich musste nur unbedingt wissen woher ich diese geilen
mockups bekomme.
Ich gehöre also nicht zum "Fodera Owners Club" wenn du darauf hinaus wolltest.
Ich wünsche aber, dass ich das bald tuh

Hi Just Thumpin, I'll be picking up my Monarch tomorrow (Thursday 8/12) after a refinishing and electronics upgrade. Joey informed me that a vacation was in the plans. I just want to thank all of you for the quick turn-around time for doing the job. Though I have another bass, I just can't allow myself to bring it to a gig as I've use the Fodera exclusively since I got it in 1992. I wish all of you the best and keep those works or art coming.

Man, I miss my Monarch 5 so much.... I wish the neck would have not warped and kill the B string (Definitely a strange thing)...

It did have Lane Poor pups and a early hazlab 3 band pre....

Did I say I miss it!

Yep. That was, I think, a '87..... Although I bought it used (I could never afford a new one.... ).
