Well, that Lakland is your problem then! :)

I stumbled through tons of other cheaper customs before ending up with Fodera- and honestly the money I spent was WAY more than a couple Foderas. They were what I wanted in the first place and I would've been better off just getting one in the first place. (With exception to my Zons, which are also absolute keepers.)

God I can't wait. Somewhere less than a month left for #1...

Thanks Jason.. I was just going to respond to this. Mine is a Garrison Imperial. The body and neck are downsized and very proportional. The balance is perfect and the notes sing. Sustain is incredible. I have the drop tuner on the E string but haven't messed with it yet (too busy playing) but I am confident that what ever i set it at will be strong and full.

Hi man,
i have problems with my neck and back so I had to have the bass as light as possible. So in addition to the narrower body, special narrow pickups and bridge and neck to account for the 16.5 spacing, we also chambered the bass. Don't know the exact weight but it is just a little heavier than my original Monarch which weighs in at just over 8 lbs.

LOL yeah that price is insane, but I guess it's a pretty captive market since you don't see lefty Foderas for sale very often.

Also, I think he's overstating how much value is added by being owned by Wayman Tisdale. Good player, interesting life history, but we're not talking Jaco's bass here.

It does a little. I was trying to scale that photo and overlay it on a pic of a bass I have to get a better idea of how big/small it is. I just can't seem to get the scale right. If I get the same distance between the 12th and 24th frets, measure 66mm spacing at the bridge (16.5mm x 4) I can line them up with the 12th frets on top of each other, but the MG's bridge is set back about 1" father than on my bass. They both have a 33 inch scale, so I'm not sure where my error is.

Does that make sense?
