Assuming you could afford either, my reply:
Ferrari Testarosa or 68' Chevy Super Sport?
What would you choose?
An old Fender feels great, its fun to play and it had a tone that is familiar. But a Fodera also sounds great and offers a whole different and rare experience. The handling of the two cards referenced above is analogous to how easy these basses are to play relative to one another.
