My band played Ring of Fire in a dive bar in Central Illinois once, and I swear the bar turned into the rawhide scene from blues brothers.

Miss You, by the Rolling Stones. Easy, and people will dance. Last time we played it live, the kids were dancing and they didn't even know the band we were covering.

Honestly, I can't say I'm a big fan of gender bending lyrics. We tried it (back in the old female vox band) and it had less than stellar results.

We had a female singer that would kill with Ted Nugent's "Free for All." The crowds especially liked her line reading on "when in doubt I whip it out / got me a rock and roll band."

Most of the songs suggested probably would be exceedingly popular with the audience, albeit I have some doubts about pulling them off with a trio. Still you might also consider some 60's garageband stuff. I've found that even some very young folks seem to enjoy 'Louie, Louie', 'Wooly Bully', 'Little Red Riding Hood', etc. Just a thought.
