I think I like this idea better, you may have trouble selling any of those basses if you don't like them. One reason I've never had an Ibanez. Look at any used bass guitar site... musicgoround, daddy's, ebay, etc. Tons of Ibanez's for sale.

I vote for the Roadstar II!! I had a 1983 and I loved it. Was my first bass, actually. bought it ~10 years ago for like $150!! Great deal and great bass! Recently has been handed down to my friend's 9 year-old. I miss it, but it's still near-by...

Thanks for the look out. But I'm buying a used bass. Not from the original owner though. I think the price I'm paying now wouldn't differ much from the price I could probably sell at in the future..?

Wouldn't these classics go up in price one day? Or are they treated as pass-by things..?
