instrument features a full Macassar covering, top and fretboard, with ebony pickup covers.

body is ash, Neck is 3 piece laminate maple.

All electronics are Ritter's own custom pickups and preamp.

amazing clarity, one of the most agressive basses I have ever tried.

Will be missed, will own Ritter basses again if life permits.

yeah me too..I thought I was done selling basses for a while, little did I knew my new house was packed with surprises inside.

some people should be forbidden to watch "extreme makeover"

you have no idea...I'm lucky to have a father that is quite handy with remodeling jobs, but still the money I'm spending on reconstruction would be enough to order 2 of these basses... with all the bells and whistles. :rolleyes:

If you go for a used house, keep an eye for that type of "self-made" mods. Sometimes people have good intentions, but just don't know their way around a tool or materials, so they just make a mess and then try to disguise it :scowl:

That is the nicest Ritter I have seen - they're all nice but this one is just my style, and also Knarleybass' flat black beauty.

Damn. I'd sure hit a Dingwall...I almosted traded one with Fullrange a while back, except I hate Red on basses:crying:

Do you have any pics of your Z2? The Z2 is next on my list. As Ritters are, Dingwalls are also excellent instruments.
