For those of you with more than two bass guitars, why?

I can see why you would want a good backup just in case but why three or more? Why not just get a really good one that you love? Just curious.

2. My garage is already full of motorcycles and cars, but my house isn't full of basses - yet...

Got another recently because an (amplified) acoustic trio didn't look right with a P bass. The ABG fits in better visually, and the other guys say it's a better fit acoustically, too.
