Don't be...(worried),
Just on a kick, I decided I would keep running with the current battery in the Demeter pedal until it completely gives up the ghost in order to have a data point for how quickly the unit burns batteries.
It's had just over 50 hours of use...and the blue light (and, more importantly, the actual pedal) is still shining brightly. I'm extremely impressed - this is with a regular (alkaline) 9v, by the way.
I've read a few threads talking about the fact that the Compulator doesn't "eat" batteries - but I didn't see anything with actual hours of use recorded on a battery. I'll bump this thread with an hour total when the battery finally does die. Our show this week is another 4-hour one, so it will get another workout in any case.
