Ya, no. Very much no.Anyone who would pay that much for a bass is smarter and knows what to look for, or at least what looks wrong.
I don't know much about Jazz basses in general. Maybe someone could point out the glaring issues for me.

I don't even know where to begin.
The neck is clearly a fake, but lets pretend its a Fender:
Bullet truss rod is a 70's thing.
Maple f/b is a 70s thing
Decals are all wrong (Google it and see for yourself).
OK - that's all I got time for. I'll let someone else point out the late 70s/early 80s P Special bridge and thumb rest, as well as some other.......issues.
