Forever delay on Classifieds link from Home page

Click on classified link, takes multiple clicks and takes at minimum 1 minute to bring up.

It's still a bit slow for me, but nothing like that, and no multiple clicks.

I run into slow loading all the time on the new site and it causes me to take the wrong links if I click something before it loads fully. I think the old side loaded top-to-bottom but the new one seems to do a partial load of the entire page page then comes back through other passes to finish things. If you click before it finishes then it sends you to other places.

Feels like I'm on dial-up back in the late 90's.

I can also confirm same action when from the home page I click on any link.
For instance sub link for Forum List, same slow behavior.

Are you using the default style, or one of the alt.talkbass styles?

TalkBass 2024 (Dark)
No changes yet, and in fact all the Top links from the home page behave the same.

Also note, the ads change and cycle with every click, yet it still stalls on any links.

By the way once I'm within any of the pages/links they all work as expected.
So this behavior is ONLY from the Home page.

Update,
hey Paul, it looks like something has changed, and now links are faster on the home/landing page.
2 days ago it was slow as molasses.
And literally nothing has changed on my end.
If you were working on it, thanks it's appreciated.
If not, you have my permission to take credit anyway.

Whatever has been done, it seems to have fixed my issues, loading as expected again today!

Well back to horrible performance sad to say.
Have to click multiple times on the forum link.
Wait up to a minute or more, have to click again, then eventually it will move.

I'm not seeing that at this point, but it's nine hours later...

Still delayed today.
It's crazy, once I make past the front page, everything one of the links works great and fast.
It was good for about a week.

And today things are as quick as I used to expect, instant click and boom to forums from the landing page.

Well let's see how long this lasts.
