they all look pretty cool, and like the sort of things companies get sued for. The headstocks are nicer than some of the other fender 'tributes'. The Ric types are quite like the Pro Bass models advertised on here

i think that the fact that this looks like a rick (or any copy for that matter) is it's primary selling point.

I've heard good things about them. DavidSinRocks is a guy on youtube who used one- he did a cover of Electric Uncle Sam by Primus, if you want an example of how they seem to play etc.

either the dude playing it in the picture is a giant, or that's not a 34" scale length. something looks off to me too.

You know, if I ever hit the Lotto or PowerBall, I'll get a real McCoy Rickenbacker Squire signature model (knowing they haven't been made for years). The reality of it is, knowing it's not the same on multiple levels (bolt-on vs. neck-thru, totally different pickups and bridge), that white one is tempting, and certainly more attainable (unless they've received a cease-and-desist).

Not to mention that the actual Rick probably doesn't come with a professional nut job...
