It doesnt look like its made horrible , I like how they did the neck , for a bolt on that is.Keep in mind it wont sound anything like a ric , the only charateristics of a ric is the shape.
i couldnt really tell you, ive never seen one in person before. i can tell you that it looks really freakin cool though. id like to have one.
Forget that it looks like a Rick? It's a fair bet that Rickenbacker's lawyers won't...

they all look pretty cool, and like the sort of things companies get sued for. The headstocks are nicer than some of the other fender 'tributes'. The Ric types are quite like the Pro Bass models advertised on here
The only US dealer (other than international eBay) is in South Carolina.
The "Cherry Bird" isn't available there yet but I imagine it's in the $700 price range.
All-in-all it seems like a decently built instrument, but I wouldn't buy one without playing it.

Now, beyond that, I'm trying to figure out how a "professional nut job" makes playing itself more comfortable...?
Looks and specs like a nice bass. I remember the other day watching a lemmy K interview. And he was talking about how he put a tbird pup in his first rick for better sound. And the main thing he liked about ricks was how they looked. So Id have no problem rocking one of these if it played and sounded real good.

either the dude playing it in the picture is a giant, or that's not a 34" scale length. something looks off to me too.
also, Indian Rosewood. I wonder who is importing these and if they've had any issue with the USDA? wasn't that what tripped up Gibson last year?
The string angles at the headstock would be a deal breaker for me. The tuner and string tree arrangement looks like a messy afterthought.
