forSCore users:

Hello,

I just started using forSCore for shows I'm working with a variety of tribute artists. Has anyone had good luck with foot activated page turners? If so, besides being able to Page Forward and Page Back, are you able to activate a link you've created within a score (eg. a D/S or Coda marking)?

I use an iPad 4. It seems to work pretty well with the forScore application.

Any feedback on reliable pedals and experience related to activating links is really appreciated.

Thank you,
Lou

Missed this when you posted it, I guess. If you have something newer than an iPad2, an iRig blueturn is a nice pedal. Won't talk to a plain 2 (air2 is fine - it's the Bluetooth LE .vs. Bluetooth problem.) So your 4 would be fine with it.

I'm not too sure about hitting markings, though, I think it really just does pages, but perhaps that's because I have not looked too hard - and I approach the problem not as "set points to return to like it was paper" but as add more (copied) pages to just keep going "forward" until the piece is done. AKA "unrolling."

Here is a link that indicates that you CAN do what you ask, but that you might want more than two buttons if you also want to turn pages (so the 4-button BlueBoard might be a better choice than the two-button BlueTurn if you want to do it that way.)
