Forum list - how to turn off hovering text

When I view the forum listing it is sufficient that the forum over which I am hovering changes color. When that forum's title is popped up and duplicated immediately above, then previous title is obscured. Can I turn of this "feature"?

No there is no way to individually turn off the tooltips in the "forum" dropdown. The developer of that addon put tooltips there because some forum titles are too long and columns would be stretched. For example "Hardware, Setup and R" doesn't fit but hovering will show the full title to a new user unfamiliar with the site.
