Anybody else pick it up? I just got it today after work for the XBOX 360, and I have to say I am VERY pleased so far.

This is my first time playing a Forza game, I was always a Gran Turismo guy. I'm very pleased. The amount of customization just blows GT out of the water... and it's just as realistic.

I can't wait to play some more!

Sorry, just wanted to bump this thread because I just recently got on XBOX Live and was able to upload some pictures I took in game.

You can take a pic during any race, and mess with the camera's effects and such... and then automatically upload it to your profile on forzamotorsport.net... pretty cool! I only took a couple of pictures, but man, it's hard to tell that they're not real life!!!

You can actually see my tires lifting off of the ground in this one. It's incredibly realistic.

I know a lot of you fellas don't like ricers, but that's all I had at the time :D I'll be sure to take some more.

After seeing that commercial all i could think was, next system to get xbox360, screw ps3 even i think the ps3 as a machine is superior the games on 360 look too good. I always found that the problem with grand turismo was the fact that the cars had no damage, go 200 mph into a wall no damage, this made it extremely boring after a while.

i was, and still am, a huge GT fan. forza 2 is amazing, but it's just something to hold me over till GT5 comes out in 2008. the ps3 released gran turismo hd concept a few months ago and while all the depth of the actual game isn't there, the graphics put forza 2 to shame. Link Removed

as far as the customization goes, i think forza follows all too closely the standard set by the gt series, and while not a bad thing since i love racing sims, it's not exactly innovative. i will have some pictures of my own up soon. i just bought some new cars on the live auction.

Oh don't get me wrong, I've always been a GT guy. I never played Forza 1. IF I have a PS3, I will definitely be getting GT5. You're right, those graphics are absolutely amazing!

For now, Forza is doing a pretty good job :)

I went into town on Friday morning and picked it up. I got the special Edition version, it's wicked! Alongside the game, it comes with a special box (with a very cool graphite weave effect), a 156-page book about the game, the manufacturers, some of the cars and with a masterclass section. It also includes the 2003 Ferrari Challenge Stradale, 2006 Saleen 281 E and the 2006 Subaru Impreza S204 as downloadable bonuses from Xbox Live (it comes with a scratch card similar to the ones you get MP and Live Subscriptions from).

I am absolutely loving the game (Yesterday I got the 153rd best time on a course with a D-Class Golf GTI....loving it!

Great to see loads of European and Asian cars. I especially love the Asian motors! Not so wild about the US motors but I suppose it's better to have them than not to have them!

Just bought a Supra RZ and tried doing a "real" looking paint job... something that might actually look like a competition car. Here's what I got.

I would be racing on LIVE now, but my membership ran out, I'll probably update it when Halo 3 comes out. In the meantime, I'm just rocking Career mode right now. Started off in Asia, loving the motors! Just got the acheivments for getting all Golds in Exhibition racing, and I'm working on the TT races too.
