Weeeell, after playing "at" guitar since shortly after the Beatles made it to Ed Sullivan, I'm finally getting around to playing "at" bass. Turning 55 next month and I've been hauling several 6 strings (electric and acoustic) across the country. My electric is...are you ready for some nostalgia...a Peavey T-60 (I think the "60" is the poundage), played through a Music Man 112RD. My latest acoustic is an Epi AJ500R. Just started playing again during a church retreat (Yes, I'm a Catholic Deacon, hence the name). Our little band of idiots started sounding pretty good, so we decided to branch out into some more "secular" stuff. Someone needed to play bass, so I volunteered. After pouring over reviews and visiting every music store in San Antonio, I decided to treat myself to a MIM Fender P and a Rumble 100 . The FedEx man should have it on my doorstep on Wednesday. I enjoy playing most anything, but I'm most beholden to Classic Rock, Country, Jimmy Buffett (who is in a class by himself) and now I'm beginning to learn "Praise" type music. Please be kind to the graybeard Noob!
