Found A Sunn Concert Bass

I found a sunn concert bass head in my schools basement, they don't know how it got there so they let me take it. The problem is, I'm scared its going to catch on fire.

I plugged it in once before and when I turned it on the light burst and sparked for a second and than it started smoking...Is this a warning for more problems to occur or is it just a bad light?

You got it for free so financially you're already well ahead. Take it to a shop for a basic service lest it become a nice doorstop.

And get a new light. Everyone knows that the light is the important part of the amp. How else would you know whether it's on or not?
