Four to five string transition

Went Straight From A 4 String to a 6 string. I cant real say that it made any difference to my speed or clarity, the only thing that real suffered was my slap. I say suffered it stopped personal have to been bothered to get it going on the 6-string yet been to into chords.

I went from 4 directly to 6. Took a couple of hours to get used to. Now I play 4 and 5, and I feel very comfortable with both.

I did the same thing, The secret is in the string spacing.
I tried several six strings until I found just the right string
spacing for me.Carvin wound up having a good string space
for me.Try all you can get your hands on, before buying one.
