Free Bass Plugins for Garageband?

Any recommendations beyond the standard plugins available in Garageband?

Looking for free or cheap ones.

Would love to find some other soft effects like octave, envelope filter, chorus etc.

Think outside the box. Plugs that aren't specific to Bass can still be great for Bass. History is full of people stumbling on something that works outside its intended use.

You can also capture the effects on the way in from your pedal board. Not as flexible as adding in post, but if you already have something you like, may as well use it!
