Free spinning tone pot

The tone pot on my P bass started spinning all the way around for some reason. It doesn't seem to be effecting the tone anymore either. The body is secure to the pickguard, the silver inside piece seems to be what is broken. Does this mean I need to have the whole pot replaced? Or is there some mojo I don't know about that can fix it?

Yup. The shaft and the disc it needs to turn are no longer on speaking terms. Replace the pot, it's not hard.

Replace the pot. It’s a $10 fix.
