Double Bass Freedom Jazz Dance

That's cheating!! I think you should be forced to play a one-note bass line, like the rest of us!! ;)
Check this out, Bruce, I think you'll dig it...

Click on the link for the cd "Infinite Search". There's a short clip of Miroslav having his way with the head on Freedom Jazz Dance. This is a great album.

Viola; my inspiration !

The downside is, after Miroslav recorded this track, bandleaders now feel free to ask the bassist to play the head on FJD, as if it just lays beautifully on the bass. I'll admit it; I worked this one out on the slab first, just to see how to get through it without killing myself.

If you're comfortable in fourths across the fingerboard, and a little stretching and shifting here and there, it's not too hard.

Well, MARCUS AURELIUS i'll meet you halfway there.

I've got it down in TP the head and my solo. I'm going to the studio friday morning to record but don't think i'll get it to Damon by friday afternoon.

Pizz, no arco is the halfway thing..

You're just going to have to settle :D
