Fretboard Diagram

There are several of these online, but I made this one today because I didn't like any of those.

It's a full .png, so all the layers and elements are preserved. It's also 20" x 3" (roughly), meant to be printed across two sheets of paper.

the notes look like they are in the right place, but because of the type it seems upside down or backwards or something. I mean that If you rotate the diagram so the letter/numbers read correctly, the bass neck would be upside down & pointing to the left

You're right. I think the reason I did that is because when I learned how to play, I started by reading tab, and tab always puts the E string on the bottom. I'll do one up with a reversed string order, and put them both up here, so you can choose which you'd prefer.
 
Nice idea for beginner but at one point you should know the notes and be able to read them on a music sheet.

I didn't have that when I learn to play bass I had to figure it out by myself.
