although I did not know him in person, I must say I followed this thread quite closely, and this bass was for sure one of my favourite builds. Only a great man can build a great instrument, so I am sure he was indeed a great person. The very best for his family and friends, and the very best for him, wherever he may be now.

It really is tragic. I wonder if this thread can somehow be preserved with pictures intact by TB as a memorial...
