fretless fender

I have a fretless fender bass made in japan a special issue. it has seymore duncan pickups that appear to be factory installed and each pickup has 3 tone cut switches built into/ mounted on each pickup. can anyone give me info on this bass? i have been plaing since 65 and have never seen the like. thanx
