Fretless Fiver

I just checked the Fender homepage, and I'm surprised to find that they don't offer a Fretless in five-string... What's the deal?

So, who does make a cheap Fretless Jazz with five strings?

I would advise building your own from Warmoth. My backup bass is a fretted Warmoth, soon to have a fretless five neck. Sounds IMHO better than any Fender I have owned. I like the B string, really sounds well. Not many manufacturers of 5 fretless, in the cheap market, that I would buy. But thats me.

Fender knows that 90% of its fretless crowd consists of Jaco wannabes such as myself.

You could always de-fret a fretted fiver and put on some epoxy.

Rondo's SX models are pretty good.
