Fretless jazz: Labella FS vs FL vs FM vs White nylon tapewound

I am doing spring set up and cleaning and would like some advice.
I have a fretless CIJ jazz bass with fender noise cancelling pickups strung with labella 760FL.
I like the thump, but the NC pickups take away some of the grind of the noisy single coils.

I'm curious to know if you fine folks of the TB string section think that the heavier gauge labella 760fs, 760fm or white nylon tapes might bring a bit more presence to the sound.

I am not after rounds, I like flats on a fretless just fine, but would like to counter the tone-mellowing effects of my pickups.

760FL vs. 760FS vs. 760FM... The difference in TONE is not nearly as significant and noticeable as the playing feel in terms of stiffness.

White Nylons are clear nylon over stainless steel rounds, so they have a very different tonal character than the DTFs. They're also a lot more flexible in feel, even with the 60-115 set. Tapewounds are thicker because of the outer nylon cover, which doesn't contribute much to either tension or stiffness.
