Fretless string question

Hi all,
I want to change strings on my Pedulla Buzz fretless. Going to put on either Sunbeams or Fodera nickels.
If any of the fretless players have used either or both on your fretless bass(es) can I get your thoughts on feel, sound, and tension please?
Really nothing in the archives concerning these strings on a fretless.
Your opinions and experience are greatly appreciated.
Many thanks.

I don't have a fretless and I don't care for nickels but both of those strings are high quality so you'd be in good shape either way. I think they are both similar in specs I think sunbeams are round core and Fodera is hex core but I wouldn't bet the farm on that one. Sunbeams are known for warmth and less brightness than say high beams. I think the Fodera will have good mids for you. Hopefully one of these guys chime in and give you a better run down.

Both the Sunbeams and the Fodera Nickels are nickel-plated steel on a round core. Comparing the same gauges, the Fodera Nickels are not quite as flexible as the Sunbeams, though.
Thanks man I definitely wasn't as well schooled on that one. Nobody posted a response so I didn't want the guy left hanging. Op should see a couple threads going on here. I saw one on both of these strings.
