No offense is intended if I'm mistaken, but these responses reminded me of when I was like 12 or 13 and some older kids tauntingly asked me if I knew what a blow job was. I didn't want to look dumb, so I said "yes I know". One said "OK, what is it then?" And I had to stammer around some vague answer that might cover for the fact that I actually had no idea what it was.
