From 130-65 to 105-45

If I restring my 4 string precision bass with 130-65 bass strings.I would most likely need to file the nut to fit the strings, right?

Would filing the nut make it so that I would not be able to go back to 105-45?

Going down in gauges shouldn't be a problem in most cases, provided the nut slots were filed properly when they were widened.
