From the Idle Hands Are the Devil's Workshop Department...

Iv'e got too much free time, so I build basses I don't really need. This one turned out dandy, however. It started with a sweet naked body and a great price that I couldn't pass up on ebay. It got a few light coats of primer and Rustoleum gold. I picked up a beauty of a loaded American Fender P neck from 2008. It's got nice lightweight stock Schaller tuners. I had a Badass bridge sitting around not being used and an extra pickguard. I then added a lovely set EMG GZR's with the solderless pots and jack, some LaBella black tapewounds, put them all together, and wound up with a pretty nice, ballsy 7.5 pound P bass that balances perfectly. Tonight I'll take it out for a spin.
