A lot of craigslist audition guys don't know what they want. It can be frustrating, you just have to press on and keep looking.

Same thing here- I left a band after 6 months (that got at least ONE GIG every weekend, even though the drummer COULDN'T HOLD A TEMPO EVEN IF IT WAS IN A BUCKET, ON A PALLET, BEING CARRIED AROUND BY A LICENSED DRIVER!)By the way, the guy that I'm talking about......he's the drummer.
Then he can fire himself!By the way, the guy that I'm talking about......he's the drummer.

Naw i am with you 100%. Also i don't like the multiple auditions stuff. The only time i would audition on more than one day would be if it were a high paid, full time position.
Tell me I'm wrong, if you think so. Is it unreasonable to assign that many songs for an audition, or was I being difficult?

If he’s like this on an audition, then imagine him with a club owner.
It’s not that it isn’t possible, it’s that it’s a waste of time for both parties. Especially if the band has another 4 or 5 bassists to audition. What am I missing, learning 13 songs in two weeks doesn't sound like a big deal? I agree it's a bit much for an audition but totally doable with minimal effort IMO.
