frustration!!!!!

im searching for my second bass and would like something in the 500-700 dollar price range.i mainly use alot of different tehcniques from slapping to tapping and i cnat find the right one.i wnat somehting differernt but have no clue what to do.i alreday have a jazz so i want something different.somehting like maybe a rickenbacker but i hear they arent good for slapping.help:confused:
 
I haven't been able to stop at just two... or three.... or four....

But, keep an eye out for a used Musicman Stingray or Sterling. They play nicely, are well-built, and used should be about in your price range. Having said that, though, a good Jazz should be able to do most anything you'd like to do.

There are LOTS of choices out there, though...
