Frustrations with bands not working out

I like to read these threads so I don't feel so bad about the band I lead. I started my band 5 years ago and it's still going pretty well. My biggest complaint is that I have 8 people in my canoe, including myself, and I feel like I'm the only one with a paddle in the water.
