This is a great looking, playing, and sounding bass, that I got here a few months ago from a fellow TB'er in a trade. He did well on it, I traded a new 2010 MIA Jazz V for it. Not his fault, I didn't do my homework.
I think that is pretty fair. It seems like Fender Jazz V's sell for around $1000 used and that is what I would value this 83 as with the original case. Especially since you don't see too many Sienna Bursts with Rosewood fretboards.
Great looking bass and a great price! Good luck with the sale.
Between 8 and 9 pounds, closer to 8, bathroom scale, but it's noticably lighter than my other P's which are all around 9. Thanks for inquiring! Will add the following goodies...New LaBella 760fl's, Levi's padded black leather strap (nearly new), and a red tort pickguard that fits perfectly....
Thanks for the comments, if it were not for new-found Sadowsky addiction it would be staying home for sure...here's a picture with the tort pickguard...
I got this same bass with a maple neck...bought it in 86...i like how the different pickguards change its appearance...i kind of retired mine i changed my pickguard to black for years..now i think im gonna go with a white pearloid pickguard...SWEET BASS!!!!
It is indeed Sienna Burst, surprising to me that Fender doesn't still do at least a couple basses with this color. Thanks for looking....still available...
