For sale or trade - Stunning and near mint Spector Euro LX/EX Burled Poplar 5 String
Bass has an unusually highly figured Burled Poplar top, its very knotty and gorgeous as you can see. Bass has an upgraded Aguilar OBP-3 preamp and it is super hot - really sings. This bass sounds huge and has tons of headroom. Action is med-low. It has a thin layer of Walnut tone wood sandwiched between the top and body wood and this bass is truly stunning to look at.
I purchased this bass thinking I was going to play more metal and slap style music and that is not going to happen. I have only played it in my music room and have not gigged with it. I bought it from a TBer in the Fall whom purchased it from a Spector endorsed artist in new condition. Shows zero wear (very light marks on black face of headstock) and could without question pass as new.
