Well, this bass is going back on the market again, because another bass has come available that I'm trying for. Same as before... if the other bass sells first, I'll be pulling this back off the market! Here is a link to the old thread, including pics.

Update: I have swapped the Elixirs onto another bass, so for the price below, I will include a set of strings of your choice ($40 or less) with the bass! I'm happy to either buy the strings and send them along, or just discount the price and have you buy them... whatever works best for you.

Price drop!

Asking price: Price drop to $850 plus shipping!! This price is somewhat negotiable, so hit me up if interested! A partial trade plus cash would be fine... I'm pretty set on basses, but I could use a backup head (preference given to a LMII, F1, or maybe a 2 ohm stable head?) or maybe a different cab. A 5 or 6 string fretless might also catch my attention... lined fretboard preferred, as I'm a fretless noob... :D

Thanks for looking!

Bump! Remember, price is negotiable. For trades, I may be interested in a head... Markbass F1, LMII, what have you? Also may consider certain cabinets. I'm pretty good to go on basses, unless you have a decent 5+ string fretless of some sort.

Ok, price drop for today! The deal for the other bass is happening, so I need to let this one go. No need for 3 6 stringers! Partial trade deals are preferred, so shoot me your offers! Don't let the Ibanez name fool you, this is a fantastic bass for the money. I paid considerably more, and have never regretted it!

I've got this exact same bass and it KILLS...

Ibanez is definitely one of those 'sleeper' brands that some people tend to ignore. I'm not sure why - super fast neck, great construction, incredible tone (custom Bartolini system!!).

This is a helluva bass for such a cheap price.

Good luck with the sale!

Any one needing a 6 string for a good price this is it. I have the five string version and it's simply amazing. Hard to find another bass that can create so many different tones.

I would fight off an army of Cambodian children for this bass.....

GAH!!! I hat being a poor college kid!!!!

Beautiful bass, i have played the 5er version of it and i damn near cried.

I play an SR506 and good lord does Ibanez make great basses, but its time to move up to a prestige i guess...

These are fantastic hand-made basses with a huge acoustic sound. I posted a clip of me soloing with this bass some time ago which you can check out. I just bought the infamous 6-string version of this one from BassNW, so I need to move this axe. Everything about these just screams class.

Very easy to play 34" scale with many innovations. I have already played quite a few gigs with this bass and people are knocked out by it. New, they are well into the $2000 range. I got it for $850 shipped off ebay.

It is a 2003 Veillette Mark IV 5-string fretless with piezo-only configuration, Alvarez 9-volt preamp, Alder body, Maple top, etc. Grrreat condition with one small nick/chip on side. If you tried real hard you might be able to spend $100 having the fingerboard buffed out and adjusting the piezos a bit. I have it strung with Thomastik flats now and it growls like a grizzly.

Just let me know what you think.

No reply yet from the interested party, though I'm in no hurry. Most likely caught up in Christmas festivities... I know I have been! Still available for the time being!
