FULL BAND MIX - 7 Basses Shoot Out!

I showed this video to my drummer friend of Swedish heritage "Svanberg" he said he wished he could do something like this with drums. Somewhat unrelated I have used Swedish Snus to keep off the cancer sticks the past 5 years, have a prilla of Ettan in rite now & there is a good snus named after your home Goteborgs Rape' sometimes humorously referred to as Goat Rape on Snus forums.

My overall favorites were the Thunderbird, EB-13, Stagg, Jazz, and then the P. The EB-2 was my favorite in the first video but sounded undefined in the full mix, and the Les Paul sounded good but was really thin and nasal when played near the bridge IMO. I'm generally not a fan of T-Birds but it really sings with that distortion and aggressive attack.

Oh, I've hade my share of snus! Goat rape Haha! I'm actually also gonna do a drum shootout soon. Especially different combinations of Kick Drum and Bass Guitar.

If this is the right vid, then, in this particular mix, at first listen, the EB2 (first bass played) was my favorite. Thickest, fattest, best attitude for this kind of tune/vibe, though I guess I can hear how it could compete with other instruments if people aren't sensible about their EQ. Didn't feel it got lost at all, though.

Not at all like what I usually play (an EMG equipped P/J), but it seems right, here.

What is the scale length on on EB2? Full 34", or shorter?

Hi! The scale of the EB2 is somewhere between short and full.
